Are You Taking Care of Your Vehicle?

This month is the beginning of the rugby World Cup and we’re going to be focussing on performance this month.

So I wanted to give you a quick example about how you can improve your performance and how you should really be thinking about your performance as a human being striving to be the best version of you that you can possibly be.

I like cars, I really like cars and I quite often go and look at cars that I can’t afford. When I’m looking at these cars I think they’re an amazing thing of beauty, they cost an incredible amount of money and if I was to have one, how would I choose to look after it?

Would I take it home and run it up and down the street bumping it off curbs? Would I put cheap fuel in it and never clean it?

Or would I think this is the most precious thing to me at this time. So what I’m going to do is make sure I drive it carefully, I’m going to make sure I don’t scrape the alloys on the curb and make sure I put the best possible fuel that I can afford into that car and I sure as hell am going to keep it clean.

I want you to think of your body just like that car. Your body is the most precious thing to you bar none!

  • Are you making the right choices everyday?
  • Are you backing up and down the curbs or are you taking care of your body and how you move?
  • Are you putting the right fuel in your body so that it runs efficiently?
  • Or are you putting in the wrong petrol? The wrong diesel?
  • Is your body having to work harder and harder every day?
  • And are you keeping your body clean?

Often times we neglect our body because we forget just how important it is to us. So what I want you to take from this Wednesday wisdom is that your body is the only place you have to live.

So why not make it the best place possible to live, treat it with the respect it deserves?

  1. Think well
  2. Eat well
  3. Move well
