Did I Just Say Christmas?!

Well I never thought I would do it but as we tip into October, I am already mentioning Christmas! Why on earth would I do that?

Well, the reason is, if you, like me, enjoy the festive season, surely you want to enjoy it in the best health possible and you want your friends and family to do so too.

And if we know that health takes time…surely, we need to start NOW.

I want to tell you my unfortunate story.

Last year as some of you may know I had to take the first few weeks of the year off. This was to recover from an operation. The operation was due to an issue that only got me because I had neglected my health in the run up to Christmas as well as through the festive season, as such my body could not adapt, and the problem arose.

This year I am determined not to do the same. I have decided to ‘get fit’ in the run up to Christmas and I am inviting you to do the same. And yes, I will binge and enjoy the festivities, I am only human. However, in the lead up I am going to be strict and enjoy the process of getting healthier.

So, here are 5 top tips to do so. Why not pick at least 3 and commit to them until the 30th November.

  1. Drink 2 litres pure water each day
  2. No alcohol at all
  3. Walk 30 minutes each day
  4. No desserts or cakes at all
  5. 10 minutes of no phones/TV or distraction, pure quiet time each day

If you know anyone who could benefit in a friendly challenge in the lead up to Christmas, please share this with them.

If you know anyone who is struggling with their health and you know Epoch can help, why not show them our way, now. So we can help them get fit and healthy, in the time it takes, before Christmas.

Are you in? Keep in touch, we would love to hear how you get on.
